Vienna-Based Purple Lamp Studios Now Fully-Owned By THQ Nordic
Sea of Thieves, The Guild 3, and SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. They will continue to function as an independent studio focusing on developing games for THQ Nordic and other licensed IP games.

Both companies have agreed not to disclose the and details of the transaction but the official press release says that it was a mix of cash and Embracer B shares. The Embracer Group is the parent company of THQ Nordic and several other video game companies including Koch Media/Deep Silver, Saber Interactive, DECA Games, Coffee Stain, Amplifier Game Invest and 46 other internal development studios.
