Two More Cat-Like Creatures From Dark And Light Showcased

In what is likely an attempt at constantly reminding us that Snail Games has released another set of two images that show two cat-like creatures that players will be able to tame. One of them is a screenshot while the other is a piece of concept art, which seems to imply that the the latter is not yet in-game.

These particular creatures are interesting because they are representative of their respective environments. The fire cat, as I'll call it, has an appearance matching that of its volcanic habitat, whereas the water cat has an appearance that is somewhat fish-like.

The post describes them as follows.

Many of Dark and Light's creatures exhibit the features of their environment, both in appearance and ability. You'll need to prepare proper elemental defenses against them if you go exploring in any extreme climate zones.

Because they're already acclimated to their environment, taming such creatures will give you an invaluable companion when exploring these regions.

Dark and Light was recently delayed until this summer, so you won't be exploring said regions any time soon, but it is interesting to see how the game world is coming together, nonetheless.
