Throne And Liberty KR Rolled Out Its 100-Day Update, Still No Word On Global Release

It’s been over three months since Throne and Liberty launched in South Korea to underwhelming response from players in the region. NCSoft was so disappointed in its performance that it decided to redact the game’s quarterly revenue from its Q4 2023 financial report but later itted to the fact in the accompanying investor call, all the while hoping that it will fare better following its global release under Amazon.

The global version was supposed to launch early last year but has now been delayed multiple times with still no confirmation of a definite launch date apart from an extremely vague launch window of 2024.

Meanwhile, the game marked the 100th day since its Korean launch last week with a 100-day update and a producer’s letter that addressed complaints about the difficulty of newly added dungeons, extremely low drop rates, bugs, and exploits.

Head of development Choi Moon-young assures fans that development continues on the MMORPG and that they’re actively working to improve game balance with the help of the community and address rampant cheating and hacking in the game. Hopefully, those improvements will make it over to the global version on launch day. For now, all we can do is wait.
