The Crew Is Calling All Units For Its Next Expansion

Ubisoft announced today at gamescom that The Crew will be receiving a new expansion called "Calling All Units" on November 29th. The expansion will contain a 12 mission story during which players take on the role of "police officers tasked with running down street racers and bringing them to justice." New vehicles and vehicle parts will also be included.

The way Calling All Units will work in the open world is described as follows.

Of course, the street racers aren’t just going to pull over and start rummaging in their glove compartments for their registrations. With blinding flashbangs, unlimited nitro, and other abilities, they’ll make it tough for the police to catch them. And there are going to be a lot of them, as anyone who plays The Crew will have total access to the street racer side of Calling All Units. Chases will happen all over the open world of The Crew, and can be triggered anywhere, anytime.

The Crew: Calling All Units will be launching on November 29th on all platforms. The Crew Ultimate Edition, a version of The Crew containing the base game and all of its DLC, including Calling All Units, will launch on the same day. The price of The Crew Ultimate Edition has yet to be announced, but I imagine it will be $59.99, as other complete editions have been.
