Temtem Delays Championship Series Tournaments To Focus On Patch 1.5 Issues

Late last month, Crema Games rolled out a whole host of new content. Unfortunately, it also arrived with various bugs and issues in tow, which are proving to be a challenge to fix, so much so that the studio has decided to postpone future Temtem Championship Series esports events indefinitely to focus on fixing them.

Crema Games kicked off the esports tournament back in January with the end of season Interregional Qualifier, Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), Temtem World Championship scheduled to take place over the next few months. The recent game issues, however, have forced the studio to push the events to November and beyond following the release of Patch 1.5.1.

“Some new bugs heavily affect PvP, and try as we might to fix them, they require more time, so we’ve made the hard decision to postpone all tourneys until November,” Crema Games tweeted.

“Managing these bugs has been more complex than expected, and trying to fix them has caused unexpected effects,” the studio added. “Upon further investigation on the issues, we have reached the conclusion that delaying the circuit was required in order to keep the tournaments integrity in place.”

The team has outlined the hotfixes and updates made to the game since Patch 1.5’s launch on Discord if you want to track their progress.
