Skull And Bones Has Been Delayed Again For The 7th Time Since Its Announcement
When Ubisoft kicked off closed beta testing for Skull and Bones a few months ago, it looked like we were finally going to see the pirate game launch in a few months’ time. Unfortunately, the long-delayed sea-faring game’s launch has been pushed back once again.
The latest launch window was set for sometime within the third quarter of Ubisoft’s 2023-2024 fiscal year, or sometime between October and December. Now it’s been pushed back to the fourth fiscal quarter which could be anytime between January and March 2024.
This marks the seventh time that the game has been delayed since it was first announced in 2017 and the fourth delay this year. What makes the news even more frustrating is that Skull and Bones has come tantalizingly close to a full launch on multiple occasions, only to be pulled back into development for various reasons.
In any case, all we can do is wait. Hopefully, 2024 will bring better tidings and will turn out to be the year that Skull and Bones finally sets sail for full release.
