Skull And Bones’ Second Closed Beta Test Will Have A Six-Hour Playtime Limit
Skull and Bones will be setting sail once again for a limited time as the multiplayer pirate game’s servers reopen for its second closed beta test from December 14-18. The playtest will be open to selected players via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S s.
Ubisoft, however, will be limiting playtimes to a total of six hours for the entire duration of the beta test, presumably to give more players a chance to take the long-delayed game for a test run without taxing the servers too much. Those who received invites can now pre- the beta client starting today.
Testers will be able to set sail on the open seas and explore the African coast and Red Isles as they take on pirate contracts, earn infamy, participate in world events, and interact (or fight) the in-game factions, or whatever they can fit into the six-hour time limit. The timer will start upon entering the game and will pause upon logging out.
s are still open on the Skull and Bones official site if you’re still interested despite the time limit. Testing kicks off at 6 p.m. PST on Thursday.
