SEGA Reveals Total War-Inspired CCG Called Total War: Elysium In A New Closed Beta Trailer
SEGA has just revealed a new Total War-inspired free-to-play collectible card game called Total War: Elysium in a new closed beta trailer released earlier today. The trailer gives the gaming community their first look at actual gameplay footage of the new game where players get to play as iconic generals from across history.
“Set in Elysium; City of Legends, ELYSIUM features a huge array of history’s pre-eminent generals, each with a unique playstyle such as the ranged tactics of Napoleon, the control-minded methods of Cao Cao, and the aggressive nature of Lagertha. ing them in the fray of battle is an armada of historically inspired battle cards from throughout the ages, like the ferocious Jian Sword Guard, devastating Mangonels, supreme Trireme warships and much more.”
According to the official press release, Elysium will feature both single player and multiplayer modes and promises dynamic battles, midgame deck editing, and a unique mechanic called Daybreak that developer Creative Assembly says will bring the feeling of being in a battlefield to the CCG board.
