Secret World Legends Is Spreading Holiday Fear With The Return Of Krampusnacht
Krampus, Santa’s demonic antithesis, returns to Secret World Legends to spread holiday fear in this year’s Krampusnacht event. Veteran players will likely be familiar with what the event entails. But for those new to the game, here’s how it works:
“The Krampus Gate flings open once more, ushering an invasion of the vile Krampus – defeat them and take the battle to Niflheim itself. Hel, queen of Niflheim, returns in two forms: one as the guardian of her realm, and another as an hourly public raid in Agartha.”
Defeating a Krampus will reward players with a poorly-wrapped present which that contains a random pieces of gear. The defeated Krampus will also drop special items that players will need to summon Hel in Niflheim. To get to Niflheim, simply wait for the Krampus to open a portal before ending his misery. Once you’re in the world of the dead, you’ll get to face off against a boss Krampus who will drop the Horns of Krampus item needed to complete the summoning items.
Once you’ve collected the required items, simply place them on the appropriate spots and prepare for a fight against the Norse goddess. Defeating Hel will reward players with a special loot bag containing a variety of seasonal items. If you can’t be bothered to collect items, there’s also an hourly raid in Agartha where you can take on the queen of Nilfheim.
Players can also look forward to rewards and seasonal quests throughout the holiday event which will run until January 4th. You can learn more about Krampusnacht here.
