Riders Of Icarus Now Free To Ride
Riders of Icarus' Open Beta phase has begun. Everyone can now play for free to their hearts' content.
At present, the level cap is 25 and the game contains but four zones, three dungeons, and one raid. A new zone and two more instances are set to release later this month.
There are several launch events live between now and July 20th. Anyone that completes the "Wings of Fire" event quest obtained from Crow at the Crash Site located in Brakarr Forest will be awarded a "Fire Dragon Shoulder Raven" that gives the wearer an extra 100 health. Daily rewards are being handed out to anyone that plays for half an hour each day. Those that completed the Salant's Stronghold tutorial during Closed Beta will be awarded a cape. A silver cape with a 40% HP recovery bonus is awarded to those who completed it one time while a gold cape with a 60% HP recovery bonus is awarded to those who completed it twice.
Additionally, event quest NPCs are stationed outside each dungeon, giving out quests that award rings—each of which has a set bonus!—for completing each dungeon on each level of difficulty. Each ring provides increasing amounts of HP and all stat bonuses depending on the dungeon and mode.
The Open Beta can be played through the Nexon Launcher and Steam. Go forth and tame as many monsters as your collection can hold!
