Palia Teases New Obstacle Course, Proximity Chat, And More Flow Trees

Singularity 6 has a whole host of new content planned for its cozy MMO, Palia, as the studio revealed in its second monthly developer update. Some of the new things that players can look forward to include an obstacle course, Flow Tree groves, and flare arrows for signalling.

The obstacle course will offer a challenging new activity for players to engage in while they take a break from their cozy adventures. It’s worth noting that the content will be purely optional and won’t be granting players rewards for their efforts aside from bragging rights and a sense of achievement.

The developers also plan to increase the number of Flow Tree spawns by making a grove of the magical trees appear once a day. The new Flow Tree groves will be marked by a plume of Flow that will be visible from further out compared to plumes from individual trees.

The team will also be adding flame arrows and proximity chat to make it easier for players to mark locations and communicate with each other, especially with more magical trees making an appearance. Players can also expect the addition of dedicated pouches for ammo, bait, and quest items, workbench improvements, mining, a new resource called starstones, and more.

Singularity 6 has yet to confirm a release window for the content as they’re mostly still in the early stages of development.
