Paladins Officially Launching May 8th, Big Giveaways Planned

After over a year in early access (since September 15th, 2016) Hi-Rez Studios is planning is hosting a bunch of giveaways to celebrate. The biggest and most interesting giveaway is every single player who played the beta since launch is getting 200 free crystals, the game's currency. Hi Rez is billing this as a "$100M giveaway" as over 25 million players are getting 200 free crystals each which equates to ~$100m worth of in game currency.

For the rest of May Hi-Rez is hosting other in-game events and giveaways. Even with the game's official launch, Hi-Rez will continue to update the game but doesn't have any major structural changes planned. The game currently averages 16,700 concurrent players online on Steam, which makes it one of the most popular games on the platform.
