All Overwatch 2 Heroes Will Be Unlocked And Playable On All Game Modes In Season 10
We’ve got exciting news for Overwatch 2 heroes a far less tedious affair when Season 10 begins. In fact, you won’t even need to unlock them at all as the studio will be making every hero available to everyone on all game modes.
Blizzard broke the exciting news to the hero shooter’s community in a new developer blog and video, along with the promise that the new tunneling new DPS hero, Venture, will also be fully unlocked and playable right off the bat.
“This swashbuckling archaeologist will be drilling into the game soon and free for all players immediately in Season 10,” Blizzard tweeted.
Season 10 will also introduce the new Mythic Shop which will offer an alternative way for players to unlock and upgrade Mythic hero skins from current and previous seasons. “You get to decide how far into each Mythic skin you would like to build,” Blizzard explains. “[…] For example, if you don’t want to fully unlock all of a skin’s color or model variations, you can spread your progression towards other Mythic hero skins.” Seasonal skins will be available two seasons after their initial debut, which means that the Mythic Shop will launch with Mythic hero skins from Season 1 through Season 7.
The team will also be tweaking the free and battle es to reward players with Overwatch Coins and increasing the cap on the free coins that can be earned each season from 540 to 600. Expect more information on Season 10 in the lead up to its launch on April 16.
