Otherland Gets Into The Halloween Spirit, Goes On Sale

It may only be in Early Access, but Drago Entertainment set aside some development time in order to make sure that players of their cyberpunk MMORPG would be able to take part in seasonal festivities for the next week. Lambda Mall is covered in Jack-o-Lanterns and cobwebs for the event. A new questline will require players to hunt pumpkins before heading to a "completely new area" for a boss fight. For this boss fight, players will be up against one of three bosses that the game will select at random.

New seasonal items have also been added to the game. Three sets of costumes allow players to dress for the occasion. Unfortunately, only one costume can be chosen. The costumes each consist of seven parts. Players must battle three bosses per day, earning three tokens, to get one part. As mentioned above, the event will only last for a week. Fortunately, two new pets—a laughing skull and a little pumpkin—will be available to follow players around this season and will not have this limitation. Seasonal uSpace walls and floors allow you to take the seasonal cheer home in-game.

Additionally, Otherland is 30% off during the Halloween sale. This pertains to all starter packages, with a minimum buy-in of $13.39 for the duration of the sale.
