Monster Hunter Wilds Unveiled At The Game Awards 2023, Coming In 2025

One of the more notable reveals during this year’s The Game Awards is Capcom’s next entry in the popular Monster Hunter series – Monster Hunter Wilds. Aside from the official announcement trailer and an extremely vague launch window of 2025, the studio didn’t really give Monster Hunter fans much to go on.

Based on the trailer though, it looks like Monster Hunter Wilds will follow the same formula as its predecessors with a few significant improvements thrown in. It hints at a larger open-world map, a better mount system, and dynamic weather. Other than that, the core gameplay loop will presumably remain intact with up to four players able to forces to take down giant beasts for their hides, teeth, claws, and other materials needed to craft items, weapons, and armor.

Monster Hunter Wilds will be playable on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Capcom promises to reveal more information come summer 2024. In the meantime, you can check out the official reveal trailer below.
