MapleStory Players Voice Concerns Over Korean Version’s New Anti-Inflation Measures

MapleStory. That includes putting a hard limit on the amount of mesos that players can earn per day from grinding in open maps and removing the ive meso increase in reboot servers. The team also plans to introduce additional gold sinks by updating the Potential Reset system to use mesos instead of currency.

The new measures are now in public testing in Korea and has apparently received positive reactions from the region’s players based on reports on Reddit. Some players on the other side of the globe, however, are concerned that the changes might eventually make their way to the North American version of the classic MMORPG.

It looks like the rest of the NA community is taking the news in stride with the belief that Nexon won’t even think about porting over the new anti-inflation measures due to the backlash that they’ll potentially receive. Also, most NA players apparently don’t grind open maps at all.

We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop should Nexon decide to port the new measures over anyway.
