Lineage M is Currently the Top Grossing App in Korea

Lineage MMORPG, is currently the top grossing app in South Korea since its official release last Wednesday.

Within 7 hours of launching, Lineage M has dominated the top spot in both Android and iOS app stores, with an estimated 9.7 million s so far. Some s have reported difficulties ing the app due to high demand, but NCSoft seems to have quickly resolved the issue since then.

For those who have played the original Lineage, Lineage M brings back the classic game with newly updated graphics and adapted controls for a mobile gaming experience. There are 130 servers currently available, many of which are seeing high traffic due to the popularity of the game.

NCSoft is no doubt very happy with the overwhelming reception so far, given the company's recent slump in revenues last quarter, Lineage M's explosive debut will be giving NCSoft a much needed boost to its current financials.

Additionally, NCSoft has already secured a publishing deal earlier this year with Gamania Digital Entertainment, a Taiwanese game company. Through Gamania, Lineage M will also be releasing in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau later this year.
