LEGO Worlds Goes Multiplayer, Get Two For One Until June 17th
TT Games and Warner Bros. Entertainment announced yesterday at E3 that LEGO Worlds has finally received multiplayer. The new mode allows two players to play both competitively and cooperatively over the internet. At present, multiplayer functionality requires you to opt into a Beta version, but it is easy to set up.
TT Games' Head of Production Jonathan Smith had the following to say about the announcement.
Building and playing with friends is at the core of LEGO® play and we’re excited to bring online multiplayer into LEGO® Worlds. The online multiplayer experience offers unlimited possibilities for players to explore one another’s worlds, build and share creations, and just have fun together.
The multiplayer update also includes a first-person camera mode, the grapple gun, road tiles, and more. You can find more about the update in the official announcement.
Additionally, between now and June 17th at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM PDT, you will receive an extra copy of LEGO Worlds when you buy it on Steam Early Access.
