Latest Robocraft Update Brings "Unprecedented Creativity And Commerce"

Robocraft developers Freejam announced today via press release that the latest Robocraft update, "Share-Drive-Fight," is now live. This new update adds a single-player PvE mode, but the real meat of the update is the Community Robot Factory. Players can now build and then trade their robot designs via the Factory. The set of features that the CRF provides is as follows.

  • Robocrafters can design, build and Contribute up to 5 different Community Robots into the CRF,

  • Robocrafters can view, hire and/or purchase the Community Robots in the CRF and immediately drive the robot into battle,

  • Contributors receive a commission on all of their Community Robots that are leased or purchased, as well as receiving statistics on sales and player opinion of them,

  • After the first battle, the leasee/purchaser can rate the Community Robot’s Style and Battle-worthiness (which is fed-back to the Contributor)

The Community Robot Factory already has 13,400 designs submitted by the community. Some of them can be seen above. If you want yours to be a part of that, you can play the game on Steam now. A new trailer for the update has also been included below.
