Last Epoch Servers Immediately Swamped Following Its Official Launch On Steam

As promised, Eleventh Hour Games’ Kickstarted online ARPG Last Epoch has officially launched on Steam after four years in early access. The game is now feature-complete with the release of Version 1.0 which includes all 15 class masteries, a trading system, and visual upgrades.

Last Epoch is a loot-based top-down Action RPG, with 15 different mastery classes, over 120 skills (with their own customizable and transformative skill tree), and over 300 unique items, each with its own build-defining powers.”

The massive 7GB update seemed to have clogged Steam’s servers for a while. The team also acknowledged loading issues as the servers struggle to accommodate the massive influx of players.

“We are currently experience failed or slow scene transitions, especially in town zones,” the studio said. “We’re also deploying the launch arguments that will allow full offline mode when you boot the game on Steam.”
