Land Of Glory Android Closed Beta Begins March 2nd, Well-Known Musicians Creating Soundtrack

Land of Glory is an cross-platform mobile and PC MMORPG from NetEase Games that was developed in cooperation with a game studio in the United States. The game originally entered Closed Beta on iOS back in December, but Android and PC players weren't able to play at the time. While PC players still won't be able to play just yet, Android players will be given a chance to try the game out when the Android Closed Beta begins on March 2nd in China.

Additionally, 17173 is reporting that some well-known musicians are creating the soundtrack. Gordy Haab, who is known for composing for Star Wars: Battlefront is working on the soundtrack, as are Chinese musician Yu Fei, who previously worked as a sound engineer for the Beijing Olympics and "China Film Group," and Marc Theriault, who has worked with Celine Dion for quite some time, as well as the Backstreet Boys, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and Ubisoft. The London Symphony Orchestra has also been signed on to perform the soundtrack for the recordings.

As a last interesting note, the soundtrack is being recorded in London's Abbey Road Studios, which is where the soundtracks for The Lord of the Rings series, the Harry Potter Series, the James Bond series, and Phantom of the Opera were recorded.

Despite cooperation with a game studio in the United States and well-known Western musicians, a Western release has yet to be announced.
