Fractured Online Is Expected To Relaunch In March After Gamigo Fiasco

It’s been a few months since ditched several games in its portfolio.

Last month, Dynamight Studios announced that the game was back to sometime this month, but the studio recently revealed that it will more likely be in March.

Over the past few weeks, the team has been constantly updating the open-world sandbox MMORPG with a focus on improving quality-of-life and the new-player experience. They also took the time to push the new server management platform to its limits through a series of extended stress tests as Dynamight Studios’ CEO, Jacopo Gallelli revealed on Discord.

“We’ve performed more sophisticated stress tests, some lasting for a very long time, with excellent results,” reported Gallelli. “For instance, after one week with over 10,000 monsters moving around one continent to simulate player activity without any server restart, the condition of the world was excellent and perfectly playable, with just a bit of increased latency! Truly a great improvement compared to the difficulties we’ve faced when we launched on Early Access in September.”

“We are aware there is other news you are eager to hear,” he added. “We thought we’d be ready to share them by now, but unforeseen issues got in the way. It shouldn’t be long though, and when they come, expect a video and live Q&A as well!”
