The VRMMORPG Rift, HTC Vive, and Leap Motion. However, despite its reveal of planned VR features, including the ability to enter and leave combat mode based on hand gestures, not many details had been revealed about gameplay.

Earlier this week, a new video with a full 15 minutes of gameplay was released. All of the standard MMORPG features are there, including vendor NPCs and mobs roaming the world. It seems that the game has non-targeting combat, although it also seems that there isn't a crosshair. You can switch between first- and third-person modes freely. There are some neat cloth physics on display. The world appears to be a large open world that is densely populated with vegetation, albeit fairly flat.

There is a moment towards the beginning of the video where the player interacts with an NPC via branching dialogue, a feature that feels more reminiscent of single-player games than MMORPGs. It is unclear at this time whether this is how quests progress in Wizard Online or if there is an overarching story that players are required to play through. It will be interesting to see how this system works in a multiplayer context.
