Enlisted: Reinforced Pulled From Steam Indefinitely Due To Pricing And Technical Problems
Back in January, Darkflow Software announced its plans to bring its World War II first-person shooter Gaijin Entertainment as its publisher. It was all supposed to go down on March 29, which it did, until Gaijin pulled the game from the platform indefinitely due to pricing and technical issues.
“We see that many of you are very dissatisfied with the Early Access version that we made available on Steam,” the studio said. “Some of you are not happy that the game is bundled with a paid DLC on Steam. Some of you couldn’t link your existing Gaijin.Net s to the Steam version due to technical issues. We’re deeply sorry for this.”
The Steam version comes with a $19.99 price tag which includes access to the base game and a DLC. Gaijin’s decision to charge a box price to play the WWII shooter on the platform caused an uproar with the Enlisted community, especially since the original PC version continues to be free-to-play on the official site.
Pricing concerns, however, are taking a back seat for the moment as the team works on fixing an issue that prevented Steam s from linking their Gaijin s due to emails not matching up.
As such, Enlisted: Reinforced will remain unavailable on Steam until further notice. The good news is that those who were able to purchase a copy on Steam before it was pulled will be able to play it on the platform, assuming that they were able to successfully link their s.
