Dauntless Still Awaiting New Content As It Recycles Battle es And Kicks Off Season 5

With lack of new content in the monster-slaying MMO, you’d think that Phoenix Labs would have at least tried to step up their game. Unfortunately, the game’s latest update paints the same story as it’s mainly just recycled battle and content.

That being said, the update does bring one new thing to the game in the form of a new season. Season 5 offers a new leaderboard to climb along with three new cells that will pit players against summoned minions or have them summon bomber minions to attack them.

The team has also brought back popular reward cache items like time-themed weapon skins and the Elder Armor, as well as a new battle featuring reruns from the previously released Glorious Battle and Marauder’s Mask battle es.

The update also introduces several quality-of-life improvements, including full integration for all social interactions through Epic Online Services, along with a handful of bug fixes for quests and the interface issues. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Dauntless official site.
