Dark And Light Development "Still Going Strong," Still No Release Date

If there's one thing that it seems that we can always count on, it's that we'll be asking "so...where's Snail Games USA Associate Producer Horsejoke answers questions in the Pre-Early Access FAQ Steam Discussions thread from time to time, but we still don't have an estimated release date other than "later this year."

Today's Facebook update didn't change that, but it does note that "development is still going strong on Dark and Light!" Currently, the team is supposedly "working on tuning and polishing overall graphics quality, particle effects, and animations for the Early Access launch later this year."

So there's still not an Early Access release date, but feel free to enjoy the video embedded below, which showcases the game's particle effects.

Additionally, Horsejoke has noted that it is "not looking likely" that you will be able to play the game in first-person when the game launches on Early Access. He states that the team is "optimizing everything for 3rd person view and making sure the animations look good first."
