Dark And Darker Devs Find A Way Around Nexon’s Copyright Complaint And Steam De-Listing
Ironmace isn’t backing down from its legal fight against Nexon’s copyright complaint, the studio is going to “Plan Z” and will be releasing Dark and Darker’s fifth alpha playtest via torrent.
“Due to our current situation, we must be careful,” said Ironmace. “Rest assured that we are working around the clock to safeguard the continuance of Dark and Darker. Unfortunately, due to the complexities of our situation, especially across international lines, it is taking time to resolve the Steam situation. In order for us to keep our promise to our fans, we’ve had to go old school this time.”
The studio warns fans not to the torrent from any other sources except the dungeon crawler’s official Discord. They also won’t be able to hold the test in South Korea due to the country’s game rating regulations.
Meanwhile, Nexon continues to file takedowns against the game, the most recent of which resulted in the removal of a tweet containing a magnet link and a link to the Discord post.
Holding the line was worth. No one hold like we do.
