Conan Exiles Wraps Up Its Age Of War Saga With Chapter 4’s Release Next Month
Conan Exiles is bringing its Age of War saga to a close with the launch of its fourth and final chapter on April 2. Chapter 4 will introduce the final piece of the Stygian invasion narrative through the new Sacred Hunt seasonal event.
The Sacred Hunt comes with its own event hub where players will be able to purchase event items called Champion Lures, which, as the name suggests, can be used to summon new enemies called Champions in set locations around the map. The newly revamped Purges will also be expanded with new threats to defend against and a new ballista to skewer them with.
On the subject of skewering foes, Chapter 4 brings the new Fatalities mechanic which will allow players to deal flashy killing blows to enemies and gain a stacking buff for it. Battle progression will also be tweaked to offer fewer but significantly more difficult challenges with better rewards in addition to more ways of gaining battle XP.
