League Of Legends’ Adorable Crafting RPG ‘Bandle Tale’ Launches February 2024
League of Legends is getting a cutesy crafting spinoff next month in the form of Bandle Tale. I know it’s a single-player game, but it at least deserves a ing mention before it launches next month if only for its connection to the popular free-to-play MOBA.
Bandle Tale transports players to a stunning pixel art version of the titular Bandle City, the home city of League of Legends’ race of adorable hamster-like beings known as the Yordle. The game tasks players with repairing broken portals to the city, taking them on a grand adventure through five unique islands as they grow crops, cook, craft, and party with other Yordles.
“Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is a crafting RPG set in the whimsical world of Bandle City,” reads the game’s description. “After a party goes wrong, the portals that connect your home collapse and throw everything into chaos! Using your knitting magic and backpack house, restore the portals to reunite Bandle City.”
The game is Riot Games latest addition to the growing list of League of Legends spinoffs that includes the Arcane Netflix adaptation, Airship Syndicate’s Ruined King RPG, and the yet unnamed 2v2 fighting game, codenamed Project L.
Bandle Tale is set to launch on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, as well as on Nintendo Switch on February 21.
