APB Reloaded Sunsetting On Consoles, Xbox Version Already Offline Due To Technical Issues

APB Reloaded players on PlayStation 4 only have a few months left to enjoy the game as Little Orbit announces its plans to sunset the MMO shooter on consoles. The Xbox version was supposed to go offline alongside the PS4 version, but it’s presumably been sunsetted early due to technical issues that are preventing the team from bringing the game back online.

“The decision to discontinue APB Reloaded on consoles was driven by a combination of technical challenges, resource constraints, and the evolving landscape of gaming,” the studio explains. “We want to ensure that our players have the best possible gaming experience, and unfortunately, sustaining the game on console platforms has proven increasingly challenging.”

The PS4 servers are officially scheduled to shut down on August 2nd and in-game purchases set to be disabled on February 1st. The good news is that console players will be allowed to transfer their characters and progress over to PC starting today for Xbox s and on February 1st for PS4 s.

“APB Reloaded will continue to be available and ed on the PC platform,” assures Little Orbit. “We encourage console players who wish to continue their APB Reloaded experience to consider ing the PC community.”
