The 2017 Spring Split of the NA LCS has officially begun! Some teams are new this year, like FlyQuest eSports. Others are completely changed up, like Immortals, Team Dignitas, and Team Liquid. Others are the same, like Counter Logic Gaming. Nevertheless, the Spring Split is sure to be exciting with the introduction of the 10 ban system and the influx of talented Korean players.
This week was a tough one for C9 as they lost both their games against TSM and Phoenix1. Furthermore, TSM looks like they are gaining their foothold with two wins against the top two teams making them tie for first place.

The EU LCS 2017 Spring Split has begun! The EU LCS is similar to the LPL in that it has 10 teams divided into two groups of five. There is a double round robin for Weeks 1-3 and 8-10, and a single round robin against teams from the other group for Weeks 4-7. All matches are best of three and the top team from each group advance to the Playoffs.

The 2017 LoL Champions Korea Spring Split has begun. It's an exciting time for the LCK in that many Koreans have come back from China, forming super teams that made the most competitive region even more competitive. The LCK is organized as a Double Round Robin with each game being a best of three. The top five teams will qualify for the Playoffs.
This week, it was KT that lost while SKT won both of their games. With this outcome, next week's rivalry matches going to be a must watch as the two super teams duke it out to see who is the best in the world.

The ESL Pro League Season 5 is underway with both Europe and North America having their own leagues from February 7 - May 18. With $125,000 USD on the line, 14 teams from both regions will play for 12 spots to compete for $750,000 at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas. Here are the results so far:
The StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 is a premier tournament taking place in Europe, America, and China that culminates in the main tournament from April 4-9 for $300,000 USD. Each individual regional tournament is from February 2-28 (NA goes until March 18th) and features 24 different teams. The main tournament has eight different invited teams, three teams from EU and CN, and two teams from NA.

The DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017 is a premier tournament featuring sixteen different teams. Taking place from February 15-19, $450,000 USD is on the line with a Double Elimination group format and a Single-Elimination Bracket.
Despite going to numerous finals, Virtus.pro has not been victorious until now. With a close 2-1 win over Astralis in the Semifinals and SK Gaming in the Finals, Virtus.pro has won the championship and won $200,000 USD.

The Elimination Mode is in its third season and features some of the best NA and EU teams in a game mode where heroes can only be picked or banned once per series. With $25,000 USD on the line, eight teams competed from February 11-17. Complexity won the NA bracket and OG won the EU bracket. In the Grand Finals, OG was able to win 3-1.

Overwatch APEX Season 2 is a tournament where 16 teams will play from January 17 to April 8 for ₩ 200,000,000 KRW (≃ $178,000 USD). The format is a round robin group stage and a single elimination Playoffs.
