Four Xbox-Exclusive Games Will Be Launching On PS5 While Diablo 4 Heads To Game

Microsoft is making four Xbox-exclusive games well… not exclusive as part of its “Xbox Everywhere” marketing campaign. That includes Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment, all of which are set to launch on PlayStation 5 at some point in the future.

The announcement was made during yesterday’s Xbox podcast, where Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, Xbox president Sarah Bond, and Game Content and Studios president Matt Booty *snickers* talked about their updated business plan for Xbox.

Don’t get your hopes up yet, as it looks like no other Xbox-exclusives will be following suit, at least for now. “I don’t want to create a false expectation on those other platforms that this is somehow the first four to get over the dam and then the dam’s going to open and that everything else is coming, that’s not the plan today,” said Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer. “I also don’t want to mislead customers on those other platforms. We’re launching these four games, and we’re excited about it.”

Microsoft also announced that Diablo 4 will be making its way to the Xbox Game . That one at least has a launch date of March 28, marking the first Activision Blizzard game to be included in the streaming service.

“Experience a gripping campaign story first, or jump right into Season of the Construct to uncover a new threat lurking below the sands of Kehjistan,” the studio announced. “Whether players choose to embark on their journey solo or with friends, there is plenty to explore in the shared world of Sanctuary: endless evil to slaughter, countless abilities to master, nightmarish dungeons to conquer, and lots of legendary loot.”
