World Of Fishing Goes Live On Steam With New Content

Insel Games announced today that, after months of being lost at sea, World of Fishing has finally made its way to Steam. The Steam launch coincides with a major update that increases the level cap to 80 and adds three new maps: "Bali, Cape Town and Fish Farm (PvP map)." Three new item categories—arm, back, and belt—have also been added alongside new baits, boats, and rods.

Those who have been playing World of Fishing via the standalone client that is available on the official website will be able to play with Steam s, as both versions connect to the same server. However, you will not be able to use your Steam client's in the standalone version or vice-versa.
