Wizard101 PvP Features Are Now Free, Spellement Drop Rates Significantly Increased

Wizard101’s business model, particularly when it comes to PvP content. As of the magical MMORPG’s latest patch, players now get free access to all PvP-related features and will no longer be required to purchase them through the cash shop or have an active subscription.

The patch also significantly increased the drop rate for World Spellements from Pet Powers, Cantrip Chests, and Area Bosses in response to player that obtaining them was too grindy. Spellements can also now be obtained from Silver Chests found from Krokotopia to Dragonspyre. The drop rate for Lemuria gear has also been increased.
