Webzen Announces Relaunch of Their Classic MMORPG Soul of the Ultimate Nation (SUN)

Soul of the Ultimate Nation will be relaunching in March, 2022 as SUN Classic. The original Soul of the Ultimate Nation launched back in 2006 (2009 in the U.S.) and shut down in 2013. No word on a North American launch yet though, but the launch in Asia will be in English and will not have any IP restrictions, so players in the U.S. and elsewhere will be able to play SUN Classic at launch.

This new version will first be available in 3 languages for s in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, but Webzen plans to expand its service to Southeast Asia followed by other regions. Hopefully 'other regions', includes North America and Europe.

This new version of SUN will feature faster leveling, system changes, tweaks, and optimizations for graphics and UI/UX elements. The game will feature the same artwork and soundtrack as the original game with music by Howard Shore, best known for his musical scores in Lord of the Rings.
