Wayfinder Server Capacity Increased To Help Alleviate Ongoing Launch Issues
To say that Wayfinder had a rough early access launch is a bit of an understatement as players continue to experience long queues, performance issues, and sluggish servers. What was originally meant to be a head start for founder’s pack owners quickly turned into a stress test of sorts as the flood of players promptly overwhelmed the servers.
The good news is that Airship Syndicate has managed to somewhat alleviate the problems over the weekend thanks to a server-side update that increased its capacity. “Our team is seeing great progress on the server side of things,” reported the studio. “More and more Wayfinders are able to enter the game while maintaining server stability.”
The studio also apologized for the launch issues and promised to compensate those who purchased founder’s packs to be able to jump into the game ahead of its full release later this year.
