Airship Syndicate Delays Wayfinder’s Free-To-Play Launch To Early 2024

If you’ve been waiting for Wayfinder to go free-to-play before jumping in, you’ll need to wait a bit longer than expected as Airship Syndicate moves the action MMORPG’s free-to-play launch window from late this year to early 2024.

The news doesn’t come as a surprise since the team originally planned two full seasons for the founder’s early access before making the transition to free-to-play. This week’s Wayfinder Wednesday blog post confirmed just that.

Meanwhile, the developers continue to work on new content for the early access title, including seasonal items and a new weapon type. A major balance for Senja is also in the pipeline. Airship Syndicate promises more information about the new weapon line after Wayfinder’s free-to-play launch.

For now, founder’s pack owners have plenty of new content to keep them busy following the release of the first mid-season update earlier this week. The update introduced two new quests, a new dungeon, a new limited-time Lost Zone, the new Juggernaut two-handed weapon line, and the new Call of the Void live event.
