Wayfinder’s Transfer From Digital Extremes Is Underway, Big December Update Teased
It’s business as usual over at Wayfinder as Airship Syndicated officially assumes development and publishing responsibilities for the early access title. Despite being hung out to dry by Digital Extremes following action MMORPG’s developer remains optimistic about its future as it works to transfer data over from its former partner.
“It’s an exciting time here as we are both publisher and developer!” Airship Syndicate announced on Discord. “While this major transition continues to be smooth, it is a massive undertaking that takes time and we will continue to tackle it with our awesome crew.”
That same crew is currently working on next month’s big update which promises over 2,000 improvements and bug fixes. Some of the things that players can expect when the update comes out are rebalanced weapons and stats, additional customization options, cosmetic rewards, customizable weapon slots, and the addition of two new dye slots.
“At Airship we believe that our actions speak louder than our words and we hope that this v0.2 update coming in December shows that Wayfinder is just getting started,” the studio said.
Meanwhile, Airship Syndicate is on the lookout for a new publisher and continues to roll out new content for the game in preparation for its free-to-play launch early next year.
