Watch Out For Path Of Exile's Epic End-Of-The-Year Events
Path of Exile for the entire month of December.

The event series kicks off on December 4th at 12pm PST with a week-long Mayhem Event that will introduce classic modifiers from previous Leagues, including Anarchy, Invasion, Breach, Ambush, Torment, and Harbinger. “Each area in Wraeclast will have one of the following scenarios: 20 Rogue Exiles, 20 Strongboxes, 20 Invasion Bosses, 20 Breaches, 20 Tormented Spirits, or 20 Harbingers, with mods changing every hour,” says the team.
The week-long Endless Delve event begins a week later on December 11th at 12pm PST. The event will take place entirely in the Azurite Mine and will offer a tougher challenge compared to normal Delve’s by making players start their descent into the mine with just a handful of starter gear.
“Players will have access to the ive points normally gained from quests and incur Kitava’s resistance penalties at various level thresholds,” the devs explain. “Players can ascend their character using the Altar of Ascendancy from within the Mine Encampment while Lilly Roth and Niko will be available to provide skill gems. Players will not have access to their Hideouts or any towns, which means they’ll be going solo against the darkness. Good luck with that.”
Last in the event in series is the three-week Heist Flashback event which will run from December 18th at 12pm PST up until the next expansion’s launch in January. The event is similar to the Mayhem Event and will have several popular modifiers from past Leagues active in each zone. “Each game area will include several popular mods from past leagues, with a random selection of three of the following mods present, which will change each hour, on the hour.”
Event prizes include Demigod’s Authority, Twilight Myster Boxes, and random draw microtransactions upon reaching certain levels. More information can be found on the Path of Exile official forums.
