Digital Extremes Talks Up Warframe’s ‘The Seven Crimes Of Kullervo’ Update

Digital Extremes is planning a jail break in Warframe and it’s set to go down when The Seven Crimes of Kullervo update goes live on June 21st. The update will introduce a new ‘Frame called Kullervo that players will need to break out of Duviri in a new questline that will culminate in a battle with the imprisoned Warframe himself.

As for Kullervo, he’s a melee ‘Frame with AoE capabilities thanks to his very own Signature Shotgun and promises a different gameplay experience compared to previously released ‘Frames.

“In addition to looking incredibly cool, this Warframe also plays an important role in the world of Duviri,” adds the devs. “For those who visit Duviri during Sorrow, Anger, or Fear Spirals, Kullervo’s Dungeon island will become available to you. Players can either visit the Island as a side-objective, or experience it as an objective in your Story bounties.”

In addition to the new ‘Frame and story quest, the update will also introduce five new Corrupted Decrees and new Exterminate missions that will pit players against an “iconic enemy”. The new missions will also come with new Undercroft tilesets.

Players can also expect updates to the gardening resource loop, the return of Kaithe racing, and various quality-of-life improvements. The team also teased the arrival of Wisp Prime sometime this summer. More information can be found in the new developer stream below.
