Warframe Debuts Citrine And A New Mission Type In Its ‘Citrine’s Last Wish’ Update
Warframe players can now embark on a quest to reunite star-crossed lovers as Digital Extremes pushes out the sci-fi shooter’s latest update, called Citrine’s Last Wish. While we’re not exactly sure what that wish is, we do know that Citrine is now unlockable as the 52nd space ninja to the game’s ever-growing roster.
“In Citrine’s Last Wish, players will discover an ancient love story rife with tragedy told through new Mirror Defense missions – classic defense missions with a twist – as they battle an onslaught of powerful enemies to reunite two crystal-encased lovers lost to time and space,” teased the devs. “Players can instantly unlock Citrine today, along with her exclusive Weapons, Customizations, and Accessories, with Platinum, or earn her mighty defenses by collecting rewards from Mirror Defense missions to farm Citrine’s blueprints.”
