My.Games Promises A New Chapter In Warface And Rebrands It As Warface: Clutch

My.Games is breathing new life into Warface with a brand-new title for the multiplayer shooter and a new logo to match. The Dutch publisher has rebranded the game as Warface: Clutch as it prepares to usher in a new chapter in the decade-old online first-person shooter.

“Our inspiration for the name came from the fact that in games and sports there are moments of pressure where you are required to summon strength, concentration and grit to make that match-defining play,” the studio said. “This is what we want our players to experience, their moves, their strategy and their reflexes define matches. Frantic gameplay with a competitive edge, that’s what Clutch is about.”

The rebranding is in line with the My.Games’ plans to gradually improve the game and bring the PC and console versions up to par with each other in of content. In-game events will also be overhauled to better reflect the team’s new vision for the game. That includes making the battle purchasable with either in-game or currency and the introduction of new weapons, a new ranked match system, and improvements to the contract system.

The game itself will be split into two separate titles that will be developed independent of each other, with Clutch being marketed towards global audiences. The team promises more information by the end of the year.
