War Rage Closed Beta 1.5 Begins February 18th

Now that it has been confirmed that War Rage is a sandbox MMORPG and not just a lobby-based wargame similar to Tiger Knight: Empire War, we're all excited, right?The experience of taking part in open world warfare with hundreds, if not thousands, of units around you sounds awesome.

While we still don't have any details about the eventual Western release, War Rage's next Closed Beta, 1.5, is set to go live on February 18th. You may be wondering "but I thought that we couldn't get into foreign Closed Betas very easily." Normally, you can't, but NetEase has partnered with so many media outlets for this round of testing that one of them is bound to be easily accessible by foreigners.

So far, I've attempted to get a key from club.mail.163.com, 17173.com, qq.com, and yy.com. I've had success in g up for the giveaways on 17173.com and qq.com, both of which are raffles and both of which seem to distribute keys by way of the phone number you provide, so I'm not entirely sure if it's possible to get a key, but it may very well be. The qq.com giveaway also has a small mini-game included, but it seems to be unrelated to the process of actually obtaining a key. The club.mail.163.com giveaway requires you to have saved up points from various mundane mail-related actions. The yy.com giveaway tells me that the process for getting a keyhas been disabled when I attempt to get one from them, so they might be out of keys.
