Tower Of Fantasy Version 3.6 Adds A New High-Tech Region And Simulacrum Character
Tower of Fantasy ushers in the next chapter of its ongoing storyline and opens the borders to a new region as Version 3.6: Beyond Horizons goes live. The update takes players on a gravity-defying sci-fi fantasy journey to the picturesque mountain region of Aquaville in a new story arc called Impending Storm where they’ll face off against two new bosses.
“The human civilianization of Domain 9 originated in Aquaville. Before the discovery of timestamp tech, Aquaville was the pinnacle of human technology. Although much of it was destroyed in the very beginning, it is currently undergoing restoration and recovery.”
At the heart of the region is a massive cylindrical structure known as Pod No. 8 which was once part of the Distant Beacon interstellar ship. Within it is a high-tech city with gravity-defying structures and roads.
“[Pod No. 8] features a unique gravity system, with a special road known as the gravity rail connecting various areas scattered across the inner walls. Progressing along the gravity rail will provide you with a thrilling map-running experience of spinning in the air.”
Beyond Horizons also marks the arrival of a new simulacrum character named Plotti, an interdimensional hacker with a rebellious side, and her special weapon, the EP-7000 Skyfire. “Plotti possesses a unique dual personality. She is serious and meticulous as a programmer, while in battle, she can be capricious and extravagant,” said the devs.
You can watch her in action in the pair of new showcase videos below.
