Tower Of Fantasy’s Evangelion Crossover Event Arrives March 12 Alongside Update 3.7

The anime worlds of Update 3.7: Evangelion Fantasy goes live on March 12 and will introduce a whole Evangelion-themed questline where players will get to team up with the iconic of the NERV crew to fight off invading Angels with the help of their massive EVA mechs.

“When the arrival of the 4th and 10th Angels from the rift shatters the peace in Vera and invading Angels are spotted outside of Mirroria, three Evangelion outsiders, who are in control of Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapons, team up with Vera Guardians and the Executor to engage in an all-out battle against the creatures.”

Players will get to see the EVA-00, EVA-01, and EVA-02 mechs in scale (I’m still not sure whether you’ll get to actually pilot them though, probably not) and meet their pilots Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley, and Rei Ayanami, as well as Pen Pen the penguin. They’ll also be able to pull Asuka and Rei as new simulacrum characters and get Pen Pen to accompany them on their adventures as a new combat companion.
