Tower Of Fantasy’s Butterfly In The Abyss Is Now Live With A New Zone And Character
Tower of Fantasy, bringing with it a new Marshville zone to explore and a new simulacrum character on a quest for redemption. The update is now live on PC, PlayStation, and mobile devices, sending players to the Forbidden County to take on new story quests to unearth the secrets buried beneath the snowy zone.
Along the way, players will visit new points-of-interest such as the Ambersnow Canyon, the of Ao, the Black Jade Ruins, and more. They’ll also come across puzzle-style hidden side missions and a new half-human, half-fish world boss named Merbelle.
The other highlight of the update is the arrival of Nan Yin, a new simulacrum character who wields a versatile altered weapon called Purple Bamboo.
“Nan Yin was once the Overseer of Yuheng in Marshville and the previous Lady Baihu. […] Prior to the Hendeca County Calamity, she did a lot of Darkness research and environmental restoration work and made a remarkable contribution to Marshville's fight against the Darkness. Now, she is better known as the most notorious traitor of Domain 9.”
