Tibia Gets BattlEye Integration 20 Years After Release

It's been 20 years since H1Z1, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and more. From the sound of the announcement, it seems as if the company hopes that it will help with the botting problem as much as it hopes that it will stop other forms of cheating.

While BattlEye will be integrated into the client on March 21st, it won't be activated until "it meets [CipSoft's] quality standards and has been adapted to [its] needs." The exact date that it will be activated will be announced at a later time. That being said, the March 21st integration date is important because, starting on that date, players will be required to accept the BattlEye EULA in order to play Tibia.
