Throne And Liberty Global Launch Delayed To 2024, Promises More Dynamic Combat

2023 hasn’t been a good year for the video games industry with numerous studio restructurings, sunsetted titles, and launch delays. On the bright side it looks like 2024 is going to be chock full of major releases as yet another highly-awaited title gets pushed back to next year.

During NCSoft’s Q2 2023 earnings call earlier this week, the South Korean publisher and developer announced that it’s once again delayed the western release of Thron and Liberty from the late 2023 to sometime next year. The game will still be launching in South Korea in December and will include fixes for various issues that testers encountered during the last closed beta test.

The good news is that the developers are promising an enhanced combat experience which will allow players to move while attacking or attack while moving, depending on how you choose to look at it. The team is also planning a global closed beta but have yet to lock down a date for the playtest.
