The Final Chapter Of The EVE Online Invasion Storyline Kicks off on May 26
EVE Online on May 26th. Invasion Chapter 3 will conclude the Triglavian storyline which has thrown Capsuleers and the whole of New Eden into conflict with the mysterious invaders. The new chapter will be available to all players regardless of level.
“As seismic events occur and continue to unfold over the coming weeks and months, EVE players will have important decisions to make as they choose between defending the Empires of New Eden or siding with the mysterious Triglavian Collective. These choices will have a direct impact on how the Invasion story develops, and will have lasting consequences in New Eden, ensuring that life in the cluster will never be the same again.”
According to the official press release, Triglavian fleets will be patrolling both high and low security space which means that Capsuleers better be prepared to take them on along with other players who decide to align themselves with the Collective. As conflicts erupt throughout New Eden, players will gain standing with either EDENCOM of the Triglavian Collective, depending on where their allegiances lie. Players can also expect to see new offensive and defensive structures appear across New Eden as the situation escalates.
Players can also look forward to player-built structure improvements when the Forsaken Fortress update comes out on May 26th. The update will feature the new “Abandoned” structure state which, in addition to the current Full Power and Low Power states, will complete the mechanics of deserted structures. C Games promise to release more information about the update in the coming days.
