RuneScape Previews Visual Upgrades Coming To The Kingdom Of Kandarin

RuneScape a fresh coat of paint one zone at a time and the Kingdom of Kandarin is next on the list. The studio is offering a preview of the visual updates coming to one of the largest kingdoms in Gielinor in its latest developer blog and video.

The Kingdom of Kandarin is a zone that’s rich in content, narrative quests, and its own lore and the developers felt that it was high time to update its dated graphics. They’ll also be updating Kandarin’s terrain to better match the zone’s story and content. They also assured the community that they’ll be giving other areas the same treatment so as not to have stark visual disparities between the different regions in Gielinor.

The team posted before and after screenshots of the Kanarin in its latest weekly dev blog, to not only show off their work but to also get from players to serve as a guide for future graphics reworks. The developers also offer more insight into the visual upgrade in the video below.
